Choose from six distinct reticle layouts — including 2 MOA dot only, 32 MOA circle only, a four-dash directional ring, and three dot-plus-ring combinations — all projected by the same LED. Because the same emitter handles every pattern, your zero transfers perfectly when you switch reticles.
The built-in motion sensor puts the optic to sleep after just 2 minutes of inactivity, then snaps it back to full brightness the instant the pistol is moved. You never lose your previously set brightness level, and battery drain during storage or holster time is effectively eliminated.
The RD3-022 PRO uses the same two-screw RMR mounting pattern found on Trijicon RMR, Trijicon SRO, and Holosun 407C/507C/508T optics, covering virtually every modern factory slide cut. Dimensions measure 45.2 × 29 × 27 mm and the optic weighs just 30 g / 1.05 oz, so there is no meaningful balance shift on a carry pistol.
The CR1632 battery slides in and out from the top of the housing while the optic stays mounted and zeroed on the slide. Rated for up to 10,000 hours of runtime, the battery lasts months of regular use even at moderate brightness before a swap is needed.

The ARTEMIS RD3-022 PRO was engineered from the ground up for competitive shooters and everyday carriers who demand a compact, reliable red dot that performs at any light level. Unlike traditional optics that lock you into a single reticle, the RD3-022 PRO gives you six distinct patterns to match your target environment — from a clean 2 MOA dot for precision work at distance to a 50 MOA circle-dot-dash combination for fast close-range acquisition. The all-metal housing measures just 45.2 mm in length and tips the scale at 30 grams, making it one of the most feature-dense micro red dots available at its weight class.

The RD3-022 PRO uses the industry-standard Trijicon RMR two-screw footprint, covering the widest possible range of factory and aftermarket slide cuts on the market today. Supported platforms include pistols pre-cut for the Trijicon RMR, Trijicon SRO, Holosun 407C, Holosun 507C, and Holosun 508T. No adapter plate is required for any of these patterns, and the optic ships with the hardware needed to mount directly. For slides cut to other patterns such as Glock MOS, a compatible adapter plate is needed.

The RD3-022 PRO's Motion Awake system monitors orientation and vibration continuously at negligible power draw. After 2 minutes without movement, the LED shuts off to preserve the CR1632 cell; the moment the pistol is lifted, holstered, or otherwise moved, illumination returns instantly at whatever brightness level was last set. This behavior is invisible to the shooter but dramatically extends practical battery life well beyond the rated 10,000-hour figure under typical carry patterns. The top-loading battery tray means the optic never needs to come off the slide for a cell change, keeping your zero intact indefinitely.

Seven graduated daylight brightness levels span the full range from overcast indoor environments to direct sunlight, while the eighth setting drops below visible threshold for use with night-vision devices. The tempered, multi-coated objective lens measures 23 × 16 mm, providing a generous sight window for rapid target acquisition without the bulk of a full-size pistol optic. The combination of the large window, the selectable circle reticle, and the NV-compatible dim setting makes the ARTEMIS equally capable as a duty optic or a competition shooter's primary sight.

The RD3-022 PRO features a sealed, weather-resistant housing that handles light rain and splash without issue. It is not rated for full submersion. Wipe the lens and housing dry after extended wet-weather exposure.
No. All six reticle patterns are projected by the same LED emitter, so the point of impact does not shift when you cycle between modes. Zero once and switch freely without returning to the range.
The RD3-022 PRO uses a standard CR1632 coin cell. The compartment opens from the top of the optic body — slide the tray out, swap the battery, and close it. The optic never leaves the slide, your zero is undisturbed, and your mount screws stay torqued.
If your slide is already cut for an RMR, SRO, or Holosun 407C/507C/508T footprint, it will mount directly with no adapter. Slides with other cut patterns (Glock MOS, Sig Romeo, etc.) require a compatible adapter plate sold separately.
